Iceland participates in a new multi-country consortium of Europe’s most trusted identity experts and will take part in delivering a large-scale, cross-border payments pilot strongly aligned with the aims of the European Commission’s EU digital identity wallet program.

In October the final steps were taken with regard to processing the interdisciplinary tendering of software teams in partnership with Ríkiskaup (Central Public Procurement). Digital applications for legal aid are now available on Ísland.is, were individuals can apply for the cost of a legal case to be paid by the State Treasury.
