Application Process
Individuals who are 65 years or older and hold only a Category B driving license can apply for a driving license renewal.
Complete the application, which can be accessed above, and submit it to the district commissioner's office.
If one or more health questions are answered affirmatively, a medical certificate (and a photo if applicable) must be submitted to the district commissioner's office.
If renewing older additional driving entitlements, C-74, CE-76, D-75 or DE-77, a medical certificate must be submitted.
Note that the driving license will not be ordered until the medical certificate has been approved.
If a new photo is required, the applicant must appear in person and provide a handwriting sample.
Applicants who have reached the age of 75 must always submit a medical certificate with their application.
The documents are submitted to the nearest district commissioner's office, which will check whether the conditions for renewing the driving license are met.
