Permit to transport passengers and freight: Notification of car

Operators holding passenger and freight transport permits must notify which vehicles are part of their operation at all times. This applies both when adding a vehicle or removing one from the permit.

At the beginning 2025, Regulation No. 1085/2025 on the abolition of license inspections came into force, introducing, among other things, the following changes for permit holders in passenger and freight transport:

• License inspections of vehicles in passenger transport are abolished
  

• All vehicles that belong to operating licenses must be registered in the use category Vehicles for passenger transport or commercial freight transport
  

• An annual general inspection follows the use category
