A personal advisor is a person who is obtained by the Child Protection Committee primarily to provide advice and guidance to a child in order to strengthen it socially and emotionally, such as in relation to leisure, education and work according to Article 24(d) of the Child Protection Act.
The relationship between a personal assistant and a child is based on mutual trust and friendliness.
Application process
Applicant Applies for Authorisation to GEV and Returns Supporting Documents
GEV checks if the necessary information and data is included in the application
A request for comment is sent to the child protection services in the applicant’s home district.
GEV takes a decision on the issue of a permit and informs the applicant
Application supporting documents
Consent for the obtaining of criminal records from all members of the household aged 15 or older. The form must be printed and filled in.
A medical certificate from a general practitioner certifying the physical and mental health of the applicant
