The Financial Management Authority has now launched a call for tenders for a new framework agreement for rental cars. The agreement covers short-term and long-term rental of cars for all government agencies, with the aim of ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. The main change from the previous agreement is that the new agreement is in three parts:

In the first two parts, a priority supplier will be selected to whom all purchasers of the contract will be directed to do business. The outcome of the tender will be announced further when the contract is concluded.

A framework agreement on insurance is due to be announced later this month. The agreement will cover statutory insurance for state agencies and cover almost 1100 vehicles under state supervision.

In August 2024, when the Government Procurement Office was closed and the projects were transferred to the Financial Management Office, the Financial Management Office assumed the role of central procurement agency for the State. One of the key tasks in this area is to oversee the conclusion of central contracts for procurement, e.g. framework contracts.
