The NTÍ annual meeting will be held electronically at this time. The meeting will be broadcast from 12.00 to 13.00 and will be open to all. The meeting will discuss ways to reduce damage to infrastructure in volcanic eruptions in the vicinity of urban areas, with the defences to be tested during the eruption in Geldingadalur. It will also discuss methods used by the NTÍ to limit the risk of NTÍ in individual loss events, e.g. through reinsurance on the foreign market.
