On July 18th a new regulation nr 770/2023 about NTI was published, it replaces an older regulation nr 700/2019
On the 18th of July a new regulation nr 770/2023 about NTI was published, it replaces the old regulation nr 700/2019.
A summary of the changes are that the new regulation, more clearly defines what damages are covered by NTI as a result of an earthquake or an eruption. The regulation is in effect immediately but provisions relating to payments of premiums collected for NTÍ by insurance companies will enter into force on 1 January 2024.
