Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson, minister of finance and economy, spoke at the meeting. Jón Örvar Bjarnason, head NTÍ insurance department, talked about the natural disaster in Grindavik and its effect on the finances of NTI and Marinó Tryggvason presented an informative summary of the effects of large loss events on the economy, both in the present and no less in previous centuries. As usual, representatives of the main institutions and companies that collaborate with NTÍ attended the meeting, which is always well attended.
