The Christmas Fair Jólakötturinn or "Yule Cat Fair" will be held on 14 December. Land and Forest Iceland is organising the fair in cooperation with the East Iceland Forest Farmers Association and the Múlaþing Community with support from Dekkjahöllin and Landsnet. Various goods will be sold at the fair, such as:

• Christmas trees and forest goods.

• Tempting Christmas gifts.

• Hand crafted items.

• Root vegetables.

• Delicacies for the Holidays.

• Kettle-brewed coffee a la forester.
