Temporary position of regional representative in South Iceland

A temporary Regional Representative position at Land and Forest Iceland is available in South Iceland, based in Gunnarsholt, from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The application deadline is March 3rd.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, overseeing, and monitoring land reclamation projects in South Iceland.
Managing project registration within the mapping database.
Reporting, and performance evaluations.
Providing education, guidance, and project information.
Participating in other Land and Forest Iceland projects
Undertaking other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
A relevant university degree.
Proficiency in computer and information technology.
Geographic information system (GIS) expertise.
Responsibility, organisational skills, initiative, and independent work habits.
Excellent communication skills.
A valid driver's license.
