UNECE, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, is hosting an online seminar in collaboration with the United Nations Alliance for Sustainable Fashion. The event marks World Environment Day on 5 June.

The discussion will focus on climate action and measures that support greater sustainability within the clothing and textile industries, including apparel, upholstery, curtains and other textile-based products.

Among the speakers is the chair of Slow Fiber, an association of Italian producers in the fashion and furniture industries that promotes greater sustainability through the use of sustainable fibres and yarns for textiles and clothing.
