The annual Christmas market, Jólakötturinn, is scheduled to take place at the Landsnet building in Egilsstaðir on Saturday, 13 December, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event will feature a selection of Christmas trees and various forest products, a diverse array of unique Christmas gifts, handcrafted items, delectable festive foods, ground fruits, and complimentary kettle coffee, served in the traditional forestry style.

This market is a collaborative effort organised by Land and Forest Iceland, the Foresters' Association of East Iceland, Landsnet, and Múlaþing Municipality.
