The Icelandic Medicines Agency is seeking a specialist to manage registration projects within the Process Management Team.

The Icelandic Medicines Agency is seeking to fill a position for a Project Manager, Regulatory Procedures within the Process Management Team. The team is part of the Quality Assessment Department within the Medicines Evaluation and Authorisation Division. We are looking for a positive, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to oversee and manage medicinal product registration procedures.

This is a full-time position (100%), and it would be preferable if candidates were available to commence work as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating marketing authorisation applications throughout the entire registration process, from submission to completion.

  • Coordinating and managing other assessment-related projects.

  • Managing scientific advice procedures provided by the Icelandic Medicines Agency.

  • Liaising with regulatory authorities in other countries and with marketing authorisation holders.

  • Providing information and guidance relating to medicinal product registrations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in health sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, or a related scientific field.

  • Experience and/or education in project management is preferable.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with medicinal product registration procedures is preferable.

  • Knowledge of regulatory information management systems is preferable.

  • Knowledge of Icelandic and European pharmaceutical legislation is desirable.

  • Excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.

  • Accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Excellent written and spoken Icelandic and English.

  • Willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
