Representatives from Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Sweden visited Iceland Health to review the collaboration and potential opportunities for increased cooperation. During the meeting, Iceland Health presented the main changes in the agency's operations, with particular focus on the specialized treatment services that Icelanders access in Sweden. Innovations in the services of Sahlgrenska Hospital were discussed, as well as how these have been utilized in the collaboration between the two countries. The continuation of the agreement between the parties and potential new aspects of the cooperation were also addressed. Additionally, developments in digital solutions were reviewed, along with the opportunities offered by technological advancements that both improve services and strengthen future collaboration.
