How much does Iceland Health pay?
120.000 ISK if there is a device for both ears.
60.000 ISK if the device is for one ear.
Iceland Health contributes to these costs every 4 years.
Who is entitled to this payment participation?
Individuals who are covered by Iceland Health and are over 18 years of age.
Individuals who have a tonal average value in a better ear of at least 30 dB.
What is the process like?
The seller applies for the payment participation and receives payment.
You pay the rest of the cost of the purchase.

If the device is purchased from the The National Hearing and Speech Institute of Iceland, you do not need to apply for payment participation, but an individual receives the same payment participation.
