Limited research capacity for PCR tests due to COVID-19
10th February 2022
Due to the large increase in PCR tests in recent days, people must expect up to three days until a result is received.
Those who have symptoms of disease are asked to stay off, but isolation will be counted from the day of the sample collection, although results are received later.
Due to this huge pressure, the number of PCR tests need to be limited every day as the laboratory does not control the number of samples that are now being received. On the southbound track 34, a speed test will be available once the maximum PCR sample number for the day is reached. If a rapid test proves positive, it remains mandatory to confirm it with PCR, however, days of isolation from a positive rapid test may be considered.
