The website is a service portal for a variety of health services. HH runs primary healthcare centres and various other operations that serve the residents of the capital area, but also runs numerous operational units that provide services to residents throughout the country.

On the new HH website, you can find, among other things:

• Information about the 15 primary healthcare centres that HH operates in all municipalities in the capital area, their locations and the services available.

• An overview of the various courses available to the public, for example, related to childbirth and parenting, anxiety and depression, stress and much more.

• Information about mental health services, including information about the Children's Mental Health Centre and other mental health teams.

• An overview of specialised operations run by HH, such as the Information Centre, Home Nursing, Heilsubrú and the Coordination Center for Cancer Screenings.

The websites of Landspitali - University Hospital of Iceland (LSH), Akureyri Hospital, the Directorate of Health and Iceland Health are already within Ísland.is, along with the websites of six healthcare institutions in rural areas and the website of the Icelandic Blood Bank.

Work is underway to increase the provision of information on health-related issues on Ísland.is and My Pages.
