ÖBÍ Accessability Award go to Ísland.is

The project For Grindavík, by Ísland.is, won the Accessibility Award at the Icelandic Web Awards.


On the website, For Grindavík, various applications are available, from the application of the response service for access to the town to applications for the purchase of residential housing.
The excellent work of ÖBÍ in raising awareness and fighting for access to the digital world is exemplary and very rewarding that they have chosen Ísland.is project: For Grindavík, as the winner in accessibility.
We are proud and grateful to receive recognition from ÖBÍ for Grindavík at the SVEF awards. The website was launched at a record time for the people of Grindavík when the eruptions started.

Seventy websites or digital solutions, are nominated in 14 categories this year. The number of categories reflects the wide range of projects the web and technology industry in Iceland is involved in. The award ceremony will be held for the 24th time on Friday 21st of March at Gróska, where projects and individuals who have excelled in the past year will be awarded.
The Association of the Icelandic Web Industry (SVEF) is the professional association that is involved in web solutions in Iceland, and the award is being presented by SVEF.
