As a Product and Project Manager, he will work on the continued development and improvement of Ísland.is, with a special focus on the website, user needs, and how we can make public digital services even better and more accessible. He will also take on project management for the implementation of new agencies on Ísland.is and more.

Bjarki previously worked at Advania as a Product and Project Manager, where he led various projects in web and app development. He has also worked at Controlant, Icelandair and Tempo, and therefore brings valuable experience in product development, project management and digital services. Bjarki has a degree in Business Administration from Reykjavík University.

Outside of work, Bjarki is very interested in everything related to computers and technology, as well as being active. For example, he is an avid cyclist, and enjoys football, padel and outdoor activities.

Bjarki is very skilled on the dance floor; he practiced breakdancing as a child and can still do the world-famous “headspin”.
