On 1 October 2026, an international conference will be held in Harpa, Reykjavík, under the title “WAD: Iceland onboard – from requirements to reality”. The conference is organised by IAAP Nordic in collaboration with the Icelandic Disability Alliance (ÖBÍ) and is sponsored by Ský and EBU. It will focus on the implementation of the European Web Accessibility Directive into Icelandic law and practice.
