Great increase in Ísland.is usage in April

In April, the number of visits was around three million, compared to around 1.2 million in 2023. Never before have more people used the service. Records are broken every month when it comes to visits to Ísland.is, usage of the application system, Authentication for all, the Ísland.is app, the Digital Mailbox and the chattbox Askur. Applications and services through Ísland.is are increasing and the public has adopted digital services in greater numbers.

• The number of people who checked Ísland.is was 3 million.

• 315 thousand registrations on My pages Ísland.is

• About 910 thousand authentications were submitted.

• 40 thousand applications were submitted through the application system Ísland.is

Electronic registration of real estate purchase agreements
