New fines orders for COVID-19
The Directorate of Public Prosecutions has issued new/updated instructions, No. 7/2020, on violations of the Icelandic quarantine act and rules issued on the basis of the Act.
The Directorate of Health has issued new/updated instructions no. 7/2020 on violations of the Icelandic quarantine act and rules issued on the basis of the Act, cf. Article 19 of the Disease Prevention and Control Act no. 19/1997, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, updating references to new decisions by the Minister of Health in this regard.
In this order, replacing the State Prosecutor's Instruction No. RS: 4/2020, adds a fine for violations related to the 2 metre rule and rules on mask use.
