Drone ban during Kótilettan festival in Selfoss
At the request of the Chief of Police in South Iceland, drone flights will be banned over the festival area of the music festival Kótilettan in Selfoss.
The drone ban is in effect from 18:00 on Thursday, 10. July 2025 until 16:00 on Sunday, 13. July 2025.
The area is marked in yellow on the pictured map. All drone flights are prohibited in the area during this period, except with special permission from the Chief of Police of South Iceland.
The drone ban is established on the basis of Article 3(d) of Regulation 1360/2024.
