Social Insurance Administration: Holiday and December supplements
How are the holiday and December supplements calculated if I do not receive an allowance for every month in 2026?
If an individual is entitled to a full or partial disability pension or a medical- and rehabilitation allowance for part of the year, the holiday and December bonuses are calculated in proportion to the number of months in the year for which the person is entitled to an allowance.
Example:
An individual undergoing rehabilitation who has been granted a medical- and rehabilitation allowance from 1 January to 30 September 2026 is entitled to 75% of the year's holiday and December bonuses. If they require further rehabilitation and are later granted a medical- and rehabilitation allowance for the rest of the year, 25% will be added to their previous entitlement to the holiday and December bonuses.
