What documents do I need to bring with me when applying for a passport?

When applying for a passport, an applicant must show a certificate of personal ID. A personal ID is an old passport, driving license or identity card.

Electronic identification, payment cards and bus cards are not considered to be authorized personal ID.
When children under 18 are brought in for a photoshoot for a passport application, guardians must always present a certified personal ID.

General information on passports can be found here.
