Can the District Commissioner make a will for citizens?

No, District Commissioner can not draw up wills. It is recommended that people receive assistance from lawyers when composing such documents, but they must be in a certain form so that they remain valid.

A will certified by a notary (District Commissioner) will cost ISK 5,400.
