It is possible to receive notifications of new documents in the inbox directly from the Ísland.is app. In order to turn on the notifications, you have to go into the app, where the character in the top right corner is selected. Under settings, you can turn on the "Get notifications about new documents" tab.

Note that you need to have the latest version of the app for the notifications to work.
