It is easy to verify digital driving licences. In the Ísland.is app is a driver's license scanner that everyone has access to. The scanner is located under the wallet tab, where you can access the scanner.

Open the scanner and the phone camera will point to the barcode of the license to be verified. The barcode on a digital driving licence is valid for one minute, the app automatically retrieves a new barcode every minute.
