Guidelines for writing certificates to the Maternity/Paternity Leave Fund
In certain cases, specialists must send certificates for parents' applications for increased rights to parental leave, exemption or transfer of rights. Further details on certificates are given under each item in the list below.
About certificates
Medical certificates shall be written by a specialist physician. They shall be:
typewritten,
signed by a doctor or with a valid electronic signature,
with all relevant fields filled out.
The Maternity/Paternity Leave Fund must obtain the original certificate.
Standard form
If a doctor has access to the Saga System, standard forms contained therein shall be used as appropriate. If a doctor does not have access to the system, standard forms below can be used, found in each chapter.
Certificate check
Medical certificates are reviewed by a specialist doctor of the Maternity and Child Support Fund and a lawyer. The certificates are reviewed once a week, usually on Fridays.
