Immigrating to Iceland

If you want to visit Iceland for less than 90 days and are from a country outside the EEA/EFTA, you may need to apply for a visa.

Iceland is a member state of the Schengen agreement. It is a partnership between 26 states aimed at ensuring the free movement of persons across national borders.

A uniform visa is issued by all Schengen states and is valid for travel throughout the region. If you have already received a Schengen visa, you do not need to apply specifically for a visa to travel to Iceland.
