Students choose one out of two elective fields of study:

• Autonomy and independent life

• Holistic education and life-long learning

Students enrolled in the postgraduate diploma undertake 20 credits of shared core courses, out of which 10 credits comprise field studies. The elective specialisations contain core courses to the value of 20 credits. These courses emphasise practical links with a professional environment. Thus, students are enrolled in field studies relevant to professions within their chosen elective domain.

Elective courses equal 10 credits, specific courses being allocated to each of the two elective fields. However, students may, upon obtaining agreement from their head of department, select other courses from different departments on the School of Educational Sciences. Please note that students can select M courses (those are open to both (advanced) undergraduate and postgraduate students) from elective fields during the 5th and 6th semester of their undergraduate studies.

Students wishing to continue their studies at Master’s level should consult their head of department regarding choice of courses.
