In total, approximately ISK 51 billion was disbursed in cooperation with Reiknistofa bankanna (RB). This is the most extensive payment day of the year for both the Financial Management Authority and RB.

Tax refunds amounting to approximately ISK 35 billion were paid to around 224,000 individuals. At the same time, salaries totaling ISK 16.5 billion were paid to approximately 28,000 government employees. Gross salaries and salary-related expenses amounted to just over ISK 27 billion.

All payments were processed successfully and credited to recipients' accounts as scheduled.
