The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has adopted a statement on age assurance. The statement emphasises that the GDPR’s viewpoint should be taken into account when considering the age of those who access content that is considered inappropriate for certain age groups.

At the same time, the Board created a task force on AI enforcement and adopted recommendations on the 2027 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) World Anti-Doping Code.
