This year, the main seminar focused on the concept of “digital sovereignty” from the perspectives of legal certainty, economic security and information security, as well as the considerations Icelandic authorities need to take into account when implementing artificial intelligence solutions.

Helga’s presentation focused on information security and sovereignty, addressing Europe’s position in the technological race with the United States and China, as well as the Icelandic government’s cloud service agreements.
