New Payment Process for Filing and Registration Fees to the Register of Enterprises

From Monday, 14 September, the payment process for filing and registration fees to the Register of Enterprises will change.

The registration process will be as follows:

  1. Send the notification to fyrirtaekjaskra@skatturinn.is.

  2. Enter the Icelandic ID number (kennitala) of the person or entity that will pay the fee on the form.

  3. A payment request will be created in the payer’s online bank.

  4. Once the payment has been made, the notification will be processed.

The payment slip will be available on Ísland.is, along with a payment receipt once the payment has been made.

Bank transfers under the previous payment process will no longer be accepted.

Professional service providers and others who submit their own notifications by email must state in the same email the Icelandic ID number (kennitala) to which the payment request should be issued.
