The UK rejoins Erasmus+

New opportunities for cooperation between Iceland and the UK in the fields of education, youth and sport.

The European Commission and the UK government have reached an agreement for the United Kingdom to rejoin the Erasmus+ programme from 2027, after its departure following Brexit. The National Agency welcomes the agreement and considers it an important step towards greater diversity and quality in European cooperation, with clear benefits for the Icelandic education, youth, and sports communities.
