New EEA Grants Programme Period – Application Deadlines Opening Next Spring

A new programme period of the EEA and Norway Grants is beginning, opening up diverse opportunities for collaboration between Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and several European countries, including Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Icelandic cultural and arts organisations have achieved considerable success in collaborations during the previous funding period, and interested parties are encouraged to explore past projects and begin planning early.
First application deadlines
The first application deadlines for the new period will be announced in Poland next spring. Now is therefore a good time to start considering potential project ideas and partnerships.
Priorities for the Culture Programme in Poland
Increasing public participation in culture and the arts
Countering disinformation through strengthened democracy and human rights
Promoting the dissemination of culture and the arts in rural and remote areas
The project promoter applies for funding in their home country (e.g., Poland). In most cases, a partnership with an organisation in Norway, Iceland and - or Liechtenstein is required.

Partnership-building seminar in Warsaw – 14 January
A partnership-building seminar in the Culture Programme of the EEA and Norway Grants in Poland will take place in Warsaw on 14 January, offering participants the opportunity to meet Polish organisations. The Polish Ministry of Culture will provide travel and accommodation.
At least ten participants from Iceland will be invited to attend.

Travel grants in January
Individual travel grants to Poland will be announced in January, with the application deadline in February.
