The Norwegian Research Council is calling for applications to strengthen cybersecurity and resilience in the Nordic energy sector.

The projects must be co-operation between at least one energy company and one entity with expertise in cybersecurity, namely research and scientific institutions or companies in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
The grant supports projects with a maximum budget of EUR 200,000, requiring 50% co-financing from applicants. A total of EUR 1 million will be awarded, to be distributed across 10 projects. Each project may run for up to six months and must deliver practical solutions that strengthen the ability to detect, prevent, and/or respond to cyber threats targeting energy systems.
The deadline for applications is 26 November 2025 at 12:00 (13:00 CET) and the results are expected in February 2026.
