On 28 October, from 9:00 to 17:00, Rannís, in collaboration with GREENET, will host a full-day workshop on Horizon Europe proposal writing at Hannesarholt.
The workshop will be held in English and is exclusively intended for those planning to apply for funding under Horizon Europe Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility.
The trainers are Sanna Alaranta from Luxinnovation in Luxembourg and Maria Habicht from the Estonian Research Council. Both have extensive experience in advising and supporting applicants for European funding.
The workshop covers the key stages of proposal preparation, from reading and interpreting call texts to developing a project and structuring a proposal.
There is a strong emphasis on practical exercises and group work.
Topics include:
Introduction to Horizon Europe and the rules of participation.
The work programme: identifying key requirements, mapping the expertise needed and building a strong consortium.
Funding rules.
The proposal template and how to use it.
Proposal evaluation criteria.
Project development and structure.
How to write the impact section.
Key aspects of risk management.
Participants can also look forward to some motivating surprises throughout the day. The workshop will conclude with a review of the material covered.
The workshop is intended for beginners in Horizon Europe proposal writing.
Places are limited, and Rannís reserves the right to prioritise registrations taking into account the number of participants from each organisation. Those who register will receive confirmation of whether they have been allocated a place.
