Would you like to experience Europe in one day with your family?

We are delighted to invite you to this year’s Europe Day celebration, taking place at the Nordic House in Reykjavik on Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Under the theme ‘Our Europe, Our Future: United in Diversity, Powered by Youth’, this is a day for families, friends, and neighbours to come together and enjoy the best of Europe — its cultures, creativity, and community spirit.

Rannís and the National Agency for Erasmus+ staff will be present to provide information about the opportunities available to individuals, companies and institutions through the European programmes managed by Rannís

There will be activities for all ages, including face painting, games, and creative arts and crafts for children. It will also be an opportunity to visit stands representing different European Union Member States, where you can learn about their unique traditions, tastes, and stories. And, of course, there will be live performances to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
