In recent months, we at HSU have been on an exciting and insightful journey across our website and social media platforms. Our goal has been to offer a window into the diverse and demanding tasks that our staff engage in every day. Through this initiative, we have shared engaging content with our employees, clients, and the wider public — inviting them to get to know us and our work more closely.

This project has strengthened HSU’s visibility within the region and has been met with positive feedback.

Effective internal communication is key to building and maintaining a strong workplace culture. It ensures that our team is well informed about matters that affect their roles and responsibilities within the organization. By sharing information in a regular and targeted manner, we aim to foster a culture of open and efficient communication throughout HSU. Our intention is for this effort to be reflected in improved collaboration, a stronger sense of unity, and, ultimately, a more positive experience for both staff and clients.

It is worth noting that other healthcare institutions in Iceland — such as Landspítali and Akureyri Hospital — also use similar formats, such as monthly newsletters, to highlight their operations and keep staff and the public informed.
