The Women’s Association of Grímsneshreppur recently presented the Móberg nursing home in Selfoss with a vital signs monitor as a gift in memory of their honorary member, Þóra Magnúsdóttir, who resided at Móberg for a time.

The vital signs monitor measures blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, and body temperature, and will therefore be extremely useful in the home’s daily operations. Vital signs are measured at least monthly for each resident, and more frequently for those who require it.
“With the addition of this new device, measurements will be more reliable and it will be easier to monitor residents’ health and assess their condition in a systematic way,” says Ásta Tryggvadóttir, Head of Department at Móberg.
The gift is a valuable contribution to the home’s operations and reflects the warmth and support of the Women’s Association of Grímsneshreppur toward the home and its residents. The staff at Móberg extend their sincere thanks to the association for the generous donation and the kind gesture in memory of Þóra Magnúsdóttir.
