Today on November 25th is International Day for Combating Violence against Women and the 16 day campaign will conclude on December 10th, which is the International Human Rights Day. The campaign dates were chosen to symbolically link gender-based violence and human rights. The aim of the campaign is to push for the elimination of all forms of gender-based violence.

HSU is a partner of Sigurhæðir (a specific resource in South Iceland for women who have experienced gender-based violence) and will flag an orange flag at its facilities over the next 16 days to support the campaign.
