HMS carries out tasks that the Consumer Agency had in place, e.g. market surveillance and other tasks in the field of metrology. Fees related to these projects are not determined by HMS but on the basis of the Act on nicotine products, electronic cigarettes and refill containers for electronic cigarettes no. 87/2018 and the Act on Measurements, Measurement Bases and Weight Watchers no. 91/2006. Further details on the levying of fees are referred to in the following Regulation, advertisement and tariffs that are set on the basis of the above-mentioned Act:
