Deportation of Bandero's crew members
5th August 2026
The Directorate of Immigration has processed the cases of 21 Bandero's crew members

The Directorate of Immigration processed the cases of 21 Bandero's crew members on the 4th of August 2026 and the decisions were communicated to the crew or their lawyers before midnight. Police requests for deportation and re-entry bans were approved, though the duration of the re-entry bans varied by individual.
The Directorate’s decisions are based, among other things, on assessments and reports from the police and the Coast Guard. Information regarding the outcome of individual cases will not be provided, nor will the decisions themselves be released by the Directorate.
Decisions may be appealed to the Immigration Appeals Board. However, an appeal does not suspend enforcement.
The Directorate of Immigration has submitted requests for the execution of the deportations to the National Police Commissioner, which is responsible for the preparation and implementation.
