Facts about Nordic Nutrition Recommendations

The Nordic Nutrition Recommendations (NNR) are prepared by the Nordic Council of Ministers. They are prepared by a working group with representatives from food authorities and scientists from all the Nordic countries.

The work of the NNR in relation to the review of the recommendations is very extensive, as thousands of scientific articles related to the subject have been reviewed by 400 experts.

The experts' results have been published in about fifty scientific articles that had previously been publicly available for comment.

The Nordic Council of Ministers will present the final version of the Nordic Nutrition Recommendation, NNR2023, on 20 June 2023 in Reykjavík.
