28th May 2024
As summer approaches, we anticipate a great season filled with activities. Our top priority is to create a safe environment for all children involved while taking a firm stance against bullying, sexual abuse and other violence.

The Directorate of Health has, in collaboration with numerous partners, published an information letter containing helpful information and links to education and guidance in violence prevention. For example, a checklist for recruiting new staff and volunteers and guidelines for obtaining information from criminal records. There is also a link to a coordinated response plan for sports and youth activities.
When suspicion of a violation against a child arises, it should always be reported to 112 and/or child protection services and the police.
