The Wellbeing Economy Forum, organised by the Directorate of Health, will take place at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík on May 8-9, 2025. The Forum is part of the JA PreventNCD project , co-funded by the European Union. Her Excellency, Halla Tómasdóttir, President of Iceland, is the Forum's patron, and Dr. Dóra G. Guðmundsdóttir, Director of Public Health at the Directorate of Health, is its founder and chair.

The Wellbeing Economy Forum aims to create a platform for dialogue and collaboration across politics, business, academia, and civil society on advancing the Wellbeing Economy. This approach places social and environmental factors alongside economic indicators when assessing wellbeing and quality of life. This emerging perspective has gained significant international attention and positive feedback quickly. It acknowledges that factors such as housing, income, employment, education, environment, civic engagement, health, life satisfaction, social security, and work-life balance are all essential to human wellbeing and living standards.

The Forum’s programme, information about speakers, and registration details are available on the official website: www.wellbeingeconomyforum.com
