Introducing a new report: The first 1.000 days in the Nordics

The Directorate of Health is represented in the Nordic Network about the Child´s first 1000 Days, and on 11 May, the report The First 1000 Days in the Nordics: Identifying Gaps and Needs to Strengthen Psychosocial Wellbeing will be published.
The report discusses what is missing and what needs to be addressed to support the psychosocial well-being of children and their families. The report will be presented at a webinar from 11:00 to 12:30 Icelandic time.
In addition to presenting the report's main findings, there will be panel discussions and audience questions. The Nordic network works to promote knowledge and co-operation on children's development and well-being from pregnancy through age 2.
The report was prepared by the Itla Children's Foundation in Finland in collaboration with the Nordic Network, with funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers.
