A moment of peace will be held in Bústaðakirkja church on 10 September at 8:00 p.m., on World Suicide Prevention Day, where a warm space will be created for togetherness, remembrance and reflection.

Programme

• Reverend Sigríður Kristín Helgadóttir will welcome guests

• Eva Skarpaas will give an opening address and introduce the programme

• Vigfús Bjarni Albertsson and Eva Skarpaas will give reflections

• Guðmundur Pétursson and Ragnheiður Gröndal will perform music

• Candles will be lit in memory of loved ones

• The FÍH School of Music Choir will sing under the direction of Una Stefánsdóttir

• The Capital Region Fire Service will stand as an honour guard

After the moment of peace, coffee and refreshments will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to spend a quiet moment together.
